Dog Park

Construction has begun on the Glenview Park District’s first dog park which will be located on approximately 6 acres of the Community Park West II property currently under development. Community Park West is located at 1001 Zenith Drive on the west side of Glenview. The gated dog park, which was designed in consultation with the Dog Owners of Glenview (D.O.G.) group, will feature separate areas for large and small dogs to exercise off leash, high quality turf and natural planting areas, trails, drinking fountains for dogs and their owners, a shelter and waste disposal bags and receptacles. As required by Cook County, the dog park will be a membership only facility with users required to complete a registration process and pay an annual fee for use.
