Air Station Prairie/Evelyn Pease Tyner Interpretive Center is a 32-acre remnant of tallgrass prairie where visitors can experience what much of northern Illinois was like during pre-settlement times. Learn more…
The Grove National Historic Landmark is a 123-acre history and nature museum, once home to one of Glenview’s earliest settlers and his family, with two historic homes, replicas of 19th century buildings and a Native American longhouse, a natural history museum, and self-guided trails through mature oak forests and wetlands. Schram Memorial Chapel is a restored Navy chapel, originally built at the Glenview Naval Air Station during World War II and named after a renowned Navy flier, which can be rented by the public for weddings, meetings and other special ceremonies. Learn more…
