Become a Member of the 4th of July Commission and Be a Part of a Glenview Tradition
Join this fun group of volunteers whose primary goal is to raise funds for the 4th of July Celebration events from local businesses, community groups, corporations, governmental agencies and individual residents. The Commission meets throughout the year and fosters interaction and communication within the community to ensure Glenview's 4th of July celebration is the best year after year. Commissioners also act as public relation ambassadors to disseminate information about the 4th of July Celebration activities.
As an active member of the Commission, Commissioners and their family receive VIP seats at the parade reviewing stand and receive VIP parking for the fireworks.

A Message from the Glenview 4th of July Commission
On behalf of Glenview’s 4th of July Commission, I would like to thank the residents and businesses of Glenview for helping to make this 4th of July one of the best ever. We have heard many people tell us that they truly enjoyed the parade and fireworks. It was great to recognize so many of the families who have helped make Glenview the wonderful community that it is. Our redline "Safeside" campaign to help keep children safe along the parade route worked well again. We’d also like to thank the Park District staff, Village Police and Fire Departments for their support and hard work to make our festivities a safe and fun event.
This wonderful day would not be possible without the generous donations from Glenview families and businesses. Thank you for your support.
