Waiting List Policies and Second Choice Rules
1. If you only select a first choice and it is full, your payment will be processed and you will be put on the waiting list for that section.
2. If you list a second choice option and your first choice is full, your payment will be processed and you will be placed into your second choice if there is an opening. If your second choice is also full, you will be placed on the waiting list of your first choice only.
3. Participants may only be added to a wait list section if they have not been accepted into another section of that same class. Once the participant has been accommodated into a section of the program, they may not maintain a waiting list spot on any other section for that same program.
4. Participants may be placed on a maximum of one waiting list section of any program.
5. To be added to a waiting list, a program registration form must be completed and the program fee paid in full. You may not be added to a waiting list by phone call or hand written note. The position on the waiting list is based upon when the registration form with payment is processed by the district.
6. If after two meetings of the program, you have not been accommodated into the program, your payment will be refunded in full.
May I register for a friend?
In order to register for a friend you must bring a completed registration form on which the Waiver and Release of All Claims and Assumption of Risk has been signed by the parent. Only one additional form per person will be accepted when registering in person.
How do I know if I’m in a program?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail listing all the programs for your family and whether they have been enrolled in the class or placed on the waiting list. Anyone registering online during open registration will receive an e-mail registration confirmation. The confirmation e-mail does not guarantee enrollment if the program does not fill and is cancelled. In the event your program is cancelled, you will be notified and your program fee refunded.
Transfer & Refund Policy
Transfers are allowed after lotteries and up to 48 hours after the first program meeting. This timetable provides the flexibility for a participant to try a camp or clinic while helping the district assess changes in availability before too many sessions have occurred.
Refunds will be granted up to 48 hours after the first program meeting. A 10% cancellation charge per total program fee per child will be assessed; for camps up to a maximum of $75 per program per child. After 48 hours, no refunds will be granted except for medical purposes or change in residence (proof required) and there will be a pro-rated refund based upon number of program sessions held.
How do I get a refund?
Call (847) 724-5670 or visit Park Center 2400 Chestnut Ave. to apply for a refund. Allow two weeks to receive your refund. Refunds will be applied to any outstanding balance owed by you for programs or activities. If there is no outstanding balance, the refund will be made by check or credit card based upon the method of payment used at the time of registration.
Are you covered?
