1. In 2007, the Park Board approved a plan to set clear financial priorities for the park district through the end of the TIF district at The Glen 
2. The Park District has a documented philosophy of how funds are allocated across facilities which drives our budgets
3. The Park District aggressively seeks alternative sources of revenue and has received more than $19 million in grants, donations, sponsorships and advertising revenue over the past 10 years.
4. The Park District’s current bond rating is Aa—due in part to our capital replacement program which has served as a model for other park districts
5. The Park District was recognized with the Government Finance Officers Association certificate for financial reporting in 2007 and 2008
